The price is formed based on the general actual weight or the general bulk weight of all packets from the consignment, the bigger value is charged.

Determining the total actual weight of something is easy.
Just put it on a scale, right? But in the transportation industry we also use something called dimensional weight. Shipping rates are charged on whichever is greater: the total actual weight or the dimensional weight. Learn how to calculate the dimensional weight of your package below.
Determining the weight of your shipment
1 Calculate cubic size
Multiply the length by the width by the height in cm (rounded to the nearest whole cm) of each package. For multiple-package shipments, add the results for all the packages together. This total is the cubic size of the shipment.
2 Determine dimensional weight
Divide the cubic size of the shipment by 5,000 to determine dimensional weight (in kilograms). Increase fractions of a kilogram to the next half kilogram or the next full kilogram.

If the dimensional weight is greater than the actual weight of the shipment:
Make sure to record both the dimensional weight and the actual weight in the appropriate fields when manually completing a UPS Waybill.
Use the dimensional weight when referring to UPS rate tables to determine the shipping cost.
The divisor for dimensional weight is being applied by service and by country. Please note that for import “Bill Receiver” or “Bill Third Party” shipments, the divisor of the shipment’s origin country will apply.
Example: A customer located in the United Kingdom, where the divisor for UPS Express and Expedited shipments is 5000, is importing a shipment from the United States. In this case, the dimensional weight divisor of the United States, which is 6000, will apply.

Important note:
The dimensional weight of irregular packages will be calculated based on the measurements of the smallest rectangular shape into which the package will fit.
